I was googling and came across an old article on Huffington post. It’s titled “The Mom Stays in the Picture” by Allison Tate. I’m not a writer, so I’m going to borrow Allison’s words about why it’s important to take photos of your baby AND you. Yup thats right. You too. I have thousands of photos of my baby, but so few of both of us.
“Someday I won’t be here — and I don’t know if that someday is tomorrow or thirty or forty or fifty years from now — but I want them to have pictures of me. I want them to see the way I looked at them, see how much I loved them. I am not perfect to look at and I am not perfect to love, but I am perfectly their mother.”
Next week I’m hosting Motherhood Mini sessions. It’s the perfect time to get in front of the camera and let me help document that special bond you have with your little one.
